Altair

Altair is the brightest star of the constellation Aquila. In the Arabic language, the name Altair means “flying eagle” and is the twelfth brightest star in the sky.

The bright star of Altair gives its name to a Superior Double Room at the Kapsaliana Village Hotel near Rethymnon, Crete. It features a double bedroom with a private terrace and doors that connect it with the room “Izar”. The room “Altair” has a wonderful view over the olive groves and the sea, while its own stone staircase connects the terrace of the room with the pool.
